After a false start on tuesday, Gameloft’s Castle of Magic has been released for $5.99.
We got hands on with the game at E3 and can honestly say that it scratches the platforming itch. While there are platformers on the iPhone, none really capture that Nintendo style magic of Mario, and Castle of Magic certainly comes close. Look out for our review soon. In the meantime if you haven’t already, then head over to our E3 coverage to check out our earlier hands on.

I bought this yesterday before it was pulled and it’s really quite awesome. Seems like a mix between Mario, Sonic, and Donkey Kong Country. Love it.
