Marble Blast originally came out on Macs about 6 years ago, so it’s only fit for the latest rendition to find itself on Apple’s new gaming platform. Oh yeah. I said it. Marble Blast proves even more than ever that the iPhone/iPod Touch are legit gaming consoles.

It’s been a while since I posted my preview of the impressive iPhone version of Marble Blast Ultra (originally on XBL Arcade), and fans have been both emailing and commenting me wondering where the game is. It was slated for a late April release, but there hasn’t been any news now a week and a half into May. I went ahead and emailed my contact at GarageGames to see what was up… good news!
