In this podcast we discuss what we’ve been playing over the past week. Nigel is back from his Holiday HOORAY! We talk Bike or Die 2, Cube, Snake Games, Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Quest nand PUZZLE QUEST. And we have a special interview with the developers of Aurora Feint and it’s recently released sequel. The interview is 45 minutes in, should you wish to skip our ranting!!!
Review disclosure: Any games reviewed on this page may have been provided to us by the developer for the purposes of this review. Note: the resulting review score is never impeded by this fact, all opinions are that of the TouchGen reviewer and not the developer. This is in keeping with our O.A.T.S oath. Thanks for the UNO review and the shout out.
The UNO voice over I heard was a female voice that said “UNO” and I think “Draw Two” and stuff like that. I heard it in a video for the game on YouTube. I thought it might get annoying and would like there to be an option to turn it off.
Your answer to the 3 games on an island question was insightful. I actually assumed there would be wi-fi dn 3G, BUT…your assumption was better fit for all iGamers since those who play on iPod Touch can’t even get 3G on a crowded island. Bravo.
English muffins over crumpets, ok, but based on Denny’s? Wow. Guess I need to try some crumpets.
SimCity, oh yeah, looking fwd to that one, but will it be avail. by Christmas?
A thought: another appeal for iGaming besides low cost and portability is iGames are update-able, so they stay new and fresh. They can fulfill the feeling one has when playing a great console game and thinking how cool it’d be to have just a few more crazy levels or maybe some twists or a change. With iGaming, developers can update games to do those things!
Enjoyed the podcast, thanks for making it fun, like gaming itself. Keep it up.
Oh…good job on the game reviewer review!

oh yeah, duh, much thanks also for the special developer interview.
Again, I think giving developers a direct voice adds to the quality of iPGN. It’s great to hear avid gamers’ reviews PLUS those who make the games talk about…games!
Thanks for reading my cheesy comments.
