Japan based developer Ubiquitous entertainment have released their top down shooter Glandarius Wing Strike on the AppStore. Published by AQ Interactive, the game employes an innovative control approach for a shooter of this type. Movement, attacks, lock on and laser control is all done with a single finger.
The game is an arcade style shooter, so expect intense action across one giant level. The game is out now for $4.99, check out the video below showcasing the controls.

Looks cool. Nice catch phrase, too. I’m sure Dave could turn that into a pathetic dirty joke. No offense, Dave.

A little pricy for a game like this… Is it worth it?

Ya, my first thought was ‘this looks cool’. But after seeing the price, it wont be something I’ll just pick up to try it out. $0.99 is typically a ‘give it a try’ price point for me. It’s not a risky investment if the game doesn’t deliver what I need for entertainment.
