F.A.S.T. –- Fleet Air Superiority Training! review thumbnail

The iPhone is a great gaming device capable of both great graphics and intuitive control. Real Racing was the first real proof to me, and now comes the second proof in the shape of F.A.S.T. –- Fleet Air Superiority Training!
F.A.S.T. is a dogfight simulator with a strong focus on multiplayer through Wi-Fi. A mode [...]

Zooloretto Review thumbnail

I’m pretty sure I like Zooloretto. It looks great, sounds great, and I think I’m having fun while I’m playing. Why all of these maybes? Here’s an excerpt from one part of the instructions, word for word, about the scoring system:
For an enclosure with two or more empty spaces, the player only scores points if [...]

What do you get if you combine the intuitive touch controls found in Flight Control with some old school top down racing? You get DrawRace from RedLynx, and a whole lot of fun.
When I first took a look at DrawRace at the App Store I thought it was a stupid idea to draw the route [...]

Droplitz Review thumbnail

Do you remember the game Plinko from The Price is Right?  In this game, contestants would drop a disc down and it would bounce off pegs, making a path to the bottom where they hoped it would rest in a high scoring spot.  That’s what I first thought of when I saw Droplitz; a [...]

Hopple/Star Ride Double Review thumbnail

Normally I would never do a joint review for two similar games. However, when the games are literally exactly the same thing with different graphics, creating two separate reviews would be incredibly redundant.
Hopple (by TopHatMonacle) and Star Ride (by Andrea Mazzini) are standard platforming games, in the sense that you have to continuously hop from [...]

Knights Onrush Review thumbnail

MoreGames Entertainment, creators of iDracula and Orions, have come up with another iPhone masterpiece, Knights Onrush. At first glance it seems a lot like Defend your Castle which got a 4 star review from yours truly a few months ago. Like DYC Kights Onrush pits you against waves on enemies trying to invade, however Knights Onrush really takes the Genre to the next level. But, does it suprass DYC’s glory?

I bomb, you bomb, we all bomb for iBomber, the cute little bombing sim from Cobra mobile. This is one game I have been meaning to review for a couple of weeks now, but unfortunately it kept getting lost in the shuffle, and now I finally have a free minute, so it’s time to review [...]

Art of Deflection review thumbnail

This is a hardcore game for sure, and I have to say that Art of Deflection really has me beat. There are a total of 15 levels in the game which sounds kind of thin but believe me they are hard to complete. I am stuck on level six after several sincere attempts. Art of [...]

ThreadBound review thumbnail

ThreadBound is a puzzle game where you have to guide Spindle back to its spider web. To guide Spindle in this 2-d platform puzzler you have Stickler the stick bug. Spindle wanders around Lemming style not caring about falling, drowning or becoming killed by some bug. By using multitouch you can rotate Stickler, and use [...]
