Radio Flare Review

By Ricky Gallo

Side-scrolling shooter fans rejoice! A new game of your genre has made its way to the App Store – Radio Flare. Does it rank among the (in my opinion) enjoyable titles Space Deadbeef and Platypus? Or does it fall into that category of overpriced poorly crafted games that some of us know all to well? Read on.

Using a dual finger control setup, you steer your ship with one finger while targeting the enemy ships with the other. It reminds me of Everyday shooter on the PS3 and PSP, with a similar target system and great music. Check back for a review soon, but in the meantime, read on to watch a video of the game in action… [Read more →]

Tap Tap Dance Review

Review by Dave LeClair

Alright so a couple months ago I did a review of Tap Tap Revenge, which is a free game that offers a ridiculous amount of songs built in and a ton more that can be downloaded. So, now they are back with their second charging venture, the question is, do the numerous updates make it worth the cost, or should you just stick with the free one. Read on to find out all the funky details. [Read more →]

Guitar Rock Tour Review

Review by Dave LeClair

For some reason this game seems to be going a little bit under the radar, and why is completely beyond me. Is it the price tag, or people just not getting what the game is about. I’m not too sure what it is, but I mean come on, it’s basically Guitar Hero for your freakin’ iPhone, need I say more? Well technically yes, I guess I do need to say more because if that was all I needed to say, my job would be a lot easier. Well to read the more that I need to say, click the link that says more, and check it out! [Read more →]

Tap Tap Revenge Review

Review by Dave Leclair

Currently the Itunes app store is loaded with free games, many are demos of a pay game, and a lot of the rest are barely worth the cost of admission (which may I remind you is nothing). However, there are some standout games on the app store for free that are so good, I would be willing to pay for them, Tap Tap Revenge, or Tap Tap, is one of these games. Imagine Tap Tap as a mix of Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, on your iPhone. [Read more →]
