Firemint rev up on the 3GS thumbnail

Not content with having one of the best racvers on the iPhone. Firemint have been playing around with the power under the hood of the 3GS. Since the game uses a high fidelity physics engine, adding cars is a good test for pushing the hardware. The team started a tech demo on the 3GS with 8 cars on the track, then 10, 12, 16 and 20, and the 3GS still didn’t break a sweat. They finally stopped when they got to 40 cars on the track at the same time, still with no perceptible drop in frame rate. Check out the impressive results in the video below.
