Ok so it’s no Quake 3, but id’s classic Quake was a great game back in the day. ZodTTD has created a free port and has submitted it to the AppStore. So keep an eye out over the next few days. According to the forums, the developer has removed accelerometer controls. If you look at the video below you can see a graphical control overlay, and I’m worried our fat fingers may hinder our view of the action. But even still the game looks to run smooth, and will be the first FPS to hit the iPhone.

This is great! If this gets released, think of what else could be ported. System Shock 2 anyone?

Still waiting for Quake and where is it? I want to download this since Cube is terrible.
