Warpgate trailer

Freeverse have released footage of their 3D space game Warpgate, a interstellar space exploration game which mixes ship combat and trading across 30 solar systems. The game is expected to be released sometime in the summer. Check out the gameplay footage below.

Hrm… I’ve really been wanting an Escape Velocity clone on the iPhone.
This does look like it may be pretty close. I have to say though, what’s up with the planet sizes? At 0:25 in that movie it appears the planet is not much larger than the ship! :/

Those tiny aliens better hope that pilot doesn’t hit the planet, at that size it will knock it out of orbit.
Other than the planet size I’m liking the concept of the game.
